21-Dec-1999: Halmstad was not selected to be one of the four cities in Sweden that get to host a casino... The cities that got selected are: Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmoe and Sundsvall.

20-Dec-1999: Per's song for Eurovision contest didn't make it to the finals.

01-12-1999: Roxette has allowed their new single to become the theme of the new Swedish movie "Dykaren" (The Diver), a thriller. The movie will be released outside of Sweden - the English name will be Salvation. It stars Swedish actor Stefan Sauk and actress Izabella Scorupco, (from Goldeneye). The story is about the Russian mob's operations in Stockholm. The movie will be released in Sweden on the 7th of January 2000.

24-11-1999: Per has been awarded 20000 SEK from Halland county for "being so popular in the world and still staying in Halmstad".

Per has written a song for the Swedish Eurovision song contest. It still isn't certain that the song will qualify for the finals, but if it does, the Swedish group Sven-Ingvars will perform it.

17-11-1999: Salvation was released in Sweden yesterday. Salvation is the fourth single to be released from the Have a Nice Day album in Sweden.

04-10-1999: Since Stars is doing so great in Sweden Have a Nice Day has re-entered the Swedish charts. Stars is currently no. 14 on the Tracks chart and HAND is no. 15 on the national sales charts. Both going down again, but still. Stars is also included on the new compilation Absolute Pophits, and finally the single is released in the UK as a double.

24-Sep-1999: Roxette will chat at www.aftonbladet.se on September 29 at 16:00 CET. There will be a whole new concept using the web as a multimedia cneter sort of, according to Aftonbladet. Readers are supposed to ask questions, a live interview will be performed and songs will be played... sounds nice, if it works!

18-Sep-1999: Stars will be released in the UK in October. Roxette performed at the new Swedish show Kalas-TV on Sunday, they lip sync'ed "Wish I Could Fly" and "Stars". Per played the keyboards. The interview was rather lame.

09-Sep-1999: No news this week.
